New varieties 2013
15 tall bearded iris + 2 intermediate created by Richard Cayeux and 3 historic varieties introduced by his his father and great grandfather.
To the left you can see a slide show of the new creations for this year, on sale from our printed catalogue published in late March and on this website. They are available for sale in our printed catalogue and on line. We aim to exhibit 7 or 8 of them at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2013 : Barbe Noire, Fleur de Feu, Tel Arlequin, Villa Erba, Saphir Jaune, Nelly Tardivier, Grand Veneur and Domino Noir.
Special award: in 2012 Richard Cayeux proudly received the FOSTER MEMORIAL PLAQUE from the British Iris Society. This plaque is reserved as a special personal award to those who contribute to the advance of the genus Iris.
International exhibits + competition results:
CHELSEA 2012: Our stand received a silver medal. For full report click left on the Chelsea.
FLORENCE 2012: In this most internationally famous competition 'BEL AVENIR' won 5th. prize and named "best commercial variety of the year". Also 'ECLIPSE DE MAI' came in 6th.
MUNICH 2012: 'BEL AVENIR' won 1st. prize in this competition with a gold medal, 'JACQUES COEUR' won the 2nd prize (silver medal) and 'ECLIPSE DE MAI' came in 4th. An excellent result!

Ordering from us is simple: all varieties are illustrated and can be bought online, or you can order by post or phone. We send orders by courier as bare rooted rhizomes from late June to mid October for immediate planting.
