A most unusual Amoena! Pure white standards and white falls peppered with medium purple especially toward the edges. Bright orange beards surrounded by yellow markings. Tremendously floriferous with an average of 12 buds and 3 branches per stalk. (Duncan 2008)
This amoena of subtle, delicate tones has something unusual and attractive. White, slightly bluish petals and lilac-white falls turning to lilac toward the edges. The tangerine beards are continued by a dark lilac stripe. Good shape, generous flowering and good branching.
How to obtain such a sparkling iris : mix a beautiful orange (Avalon Sunset) with a "broken coloured" variety (Tiger Honey):
then comes the surprise! The standards are pink tinted rosé-wine and the falls have a cream yellow background completely veined and marbled with mid-bordeaux. Tangerine beards. Branches stems with 8 buds and perfectly shaped flowers.
