Very attractive son of our excellent 'Magnétisme' with pale lavender blue standards and velvety falls of a deep purple featuring a lighter border. «Burned-red» beards. Quality stalk which carries 7 buds on average.
A son of "Caprice de Star" in subtle pastel tones: light pink standards and pinkish white falls darkening along the coral pink beards. Large flowers carried by perfect low branching and well balanced stems. A very vigorous plant with an average of 9 to 10 buds per stem.
The cross "Chevalier de Malte" with "Conjuration" has given us many good seedlings, "Aurélie" is one of them. It has white standards with lavender on their edges and flaring purple-violet falls with a large white centre. The thick red beard ends in a white spur. Well-branched stalks. Winner at the Florence iris competition in 2007.
Mid mauve standards edged chrome yellow, style arms pinard yellow lightning the heart of the flower. Prunelle falls turning to mid purple towards the edge surrounded by a yellow chartreuse rim. Cadmium yellow beards ending white on a white spot. Lot of ruffles, very sophisticated indeed !
A child of the excellent "Dusky Challenger". It is a rich navy blue (almost exempt from violet). Vigorous grower and often three flowers blooming at the same time. Medium blue beards. RHS Award of Garden Merit in 2000.
This brings to its category something cleaner and brighter: plain butter yellow standards and blue-violet falls with nice light bronze rim. Bronze beards.
Gracefully shaped flowers with sky blue standards and darker blue-violet plicata markings on ruffled ivory falls. Popular iris, prize-winner several times despite a moderate average count of buds (only 5 to 6).
Pure white standards and white falls with a wide pure mid-blue border. Pale yellow beards. Excellent grower and bloomer. "Alizes" gained the RHS Award of Garden Merit in 2000.
As warm as the south of Spain: bright and pure yellow standards and velvety red falls. Extremely clean contrast and exceptionally vigourous. RHS Award of Garden Merit 2006.
