CRIMSON TIGER

Almost certainly one of our stars in 2016, as all our visitors in spring 2015 approved it across the board. White standards with clearly aubergine-toned edges, falls of a nearly black crimson purple and a luminous burnt-red beard resting on a white area with dark purple striations. Numerous, ruffled and shimmering flowers (9 to 11 buds on average).

Very large, soft and majestic flowers with white standards tinted a soft yellow at the base. Creamy white falls discreetly tinted in the same yellow tone. Golden yellow markings along the golden beards. On average 9-10 strong lemon yellow buds.

"Paul Black" and "Alpenview" are the proud parents of this astonishing inversed amoena and its majestic 15 cm by 15 cm flower which is dedicated to Villa Erba, residence of the famous Italian film-director, Luchino Visconti. The magnificent wisteria-blue standards are darker at the centre, whilst the large bluish-white falls are elegantly undulated with ruffles. The mandarin-coloured beards of this really vigorous and fragrant new variety have lighter tips.

Imagine pure white standards, honey-yellow falls and vivid bright tangerine beards and you will understand our enthusiam fot this unique Australian amoena. In addition, good growth and stalks.
