RIO DE ORO

A two-tone iris of subtle shades: Greyish white standards with lavender hues, amber-toned styles and medium lavender falls. Beards are of a burnt orange. Exquisite shape. 7 to 8 buds/stalk on average.

Dark blue-violet standards with a white area at their base, falls of same tint with a white area around the white beards. Average sized flowers in full harmony with the plant. Long flowering.

This descendant of "Above the Clouds" and "Abiqua Falls"is of a wonderful pure sky blue with gracefully ruffled edges. Discreet pale yellowish white beards. The first of the light blues to flower. Also it remains in bloom for a long time due to an average

A majestic 2-toned crimson iris: medium crimson standards contrasting with the wide black-red, velvety falls. Bronze beards. Only 6-7 buds per stalk but largely made up for by a long flowering period. (Cayeux seedling 06 33 C)

Nice purple-pink slightly paler under the orange beards. Grows very well.

Pale mauve wine-coloured standards and rosé-wine falls, lighter than the standards and almost horizontal. Orange-red beards. Firm-bodied flowers slightly waved and free-flowering (8 to 9 buds per stem). Superb branching. Unusual colour between rosé and Bordeaux, very attractive!
