Golden yellow standards and pale pinkish mauve falls with a fine yellow border. Bright yellow beards. Variety registered by René Cayeux in 1947.

Pure sunshine yellow, with a discreet paler area under the bright yellow beard. Semi-horizontal falls, very wavy flowers with finely crimped edges. Particularly useful in that it flowers late.

Harmonious combination of pastel tones! Standards between cream and apricot. Strongly ruffled falls, coloured in cream lightly toned with apricot, edged with a light purple border. Vivid scarlet beards.

Light chocolate standards, flushed blue-lavender. Richer chocolate falls with darker chocolate hafts and blue blaze in the centre. Most original!

Very big flowers in delicious apricot tones, wide falls slightly paler below the tangerine beards and ruffled standards, tinted peach pink at their base. Excellent colour and good garden value.

This new and luscious combination carries numerous elegantly ruffled flowers (11 on average) which feature medium-sized standards. The nearly horizontals falls of amaranth, with borders which turn to a light pink copper tone, are nicely echoed by bronze-coloured beards. We are pleased to have named this exquisite variety in memory of Madame Tardivier, former director of the Jardins des Tuileries at the Louvre.
