Faïence de Gien's excellent seedling brother is very elegant but taller. Its exceptional lower branching stalks carry 7 to 8 buds. It features milk-white standards whilst the very wide white falls have lovely violet and purplish black borders (over 2 cm) and are veined with fine lines of the same colour which run parallel to the golden yellow beards.

Pale blue standards shading deeper in lower center, Blue-white falls with a light blue edge (6 mm). Carnelian red beards on white base. Fantastic formed and ruffled flowers as always with Keppel.

Golden copper standards infused and washed with smoky purple, white falls infused clear purple-lavender especially in centre , copper-yellow border. Orange beards ending blue. Coming from DAKOTA SMOKE, unusual combination, strong growth.

Interesting and very unusual colour contrast between the pale blue standards and the bluish-black velvety falls. Black-purple beards tipped yellow. This very recent iris (introduced in the USA in 2004) has strong stalks and propagates very quickly.

A well-named variety that is one of the bluest of the blues. A medium blue with large and round flowers. While "Carribean Dream" does not produce many buds per stem, if often produces several stems per zhizome.(Schreiner 1990)

Extraordinary violet two tones : deep violet standards and dark velvety purple-violet falls edged light violet. Bright orange vermilion beards.
