Plicata genus ‘PROVENCAL’ of modern form. Petals burgundy red, sepals cream ground, sprinkled with a rich deep burgundy red, wide margins and median burgundy stripe. Orange barbs. Excellent stems, branching and full of buds. Sweet, flowery fragrance.

Subtle, delicate and beautiful! White standards with a light lavender plicata-type border. Pure white falls with a fine, bright purple edging. Yellow beards with white ends. Splendid stalks with 8 buds on average. One of our favourites among the foreign introductions of 2016.

Superb recent australian import that brings great qualities to the plicata family. Reddish brown standards and falls with a creamy white ground and reddish brown stitched band. Beards between mustard and copper. Very ruffled flowers and up to 10 buds.

We like "Splashacata" for its strong personality. It shows pale blue-lavender standards and white falls heavily peppered with rich purple-violet dots and speckles. White beards tipped yellow. Vigorous novelty that produces regularly 8 to 10 ruffled flowers per stalk.
