We crossed two Dykes Medal winners ("Edith Wolford" and "Honky Tonk Blues") to get this magnificent and waved bicolor. Clear butter yellow standards and cool bluish lavender falls with almost invisible beards. For us, it is one of the best blue and yellow bicolors.

Is distinguished from all other blacks by its long cream beard (yellow at the heart) which creates a remarkable contrast with the velvety black of the falls. Purple black standards. Moderately wavy, 6 to 7 buds per stem, distributed over three beautiful branched stems. (Schreiner 2009).

A real champion within this category! Huge flowers (16 cm x 11 cm) have a gentle flowing ruffle and the colour is deep royal purple perfectly plain, even the beards are purple. Each 6 to 8 budded stem has 2 to 3 flowers opening simultaneously. Excellent growth.

Deep wisteria blue mottled or streaked with blended grey-white on the falls. Deep wisteria blue beards. Perfect shape and stems (with 10 buds). Excellent.

Mouth watering colour: racy red-claret with ruffled and flared falls. Excellent flowering habit: most stalks have four branches and average 10-11 nicely spaced buds. Vigorous growth and also disease resistant.

Undoubtedly our favourite among our 2024 introductions ! Pure white standards with some pale yellow-green at base. Ruffled standards, almost horizontal, with a clear lavender-white ground washed and striped with purple. Each flower on a same stalk is different depending on the purple rays. Beards clear orange on a yellow-green area lighten these magnificent flowers. Well-branched stems, 7 buds in average. Sibling to ‘As de Carreau’ (Cayeux 2024).

A really classy descendant of "Wishful Thinking". Rosy lavender standards and falls of the same colour but lighter, except on the edges. White beards tipped with light tangerine. Robust, malady-resistant and up to 10 buds per stalk.

Dark beauty and a son worthy of our excellent creation "Mer du Sud", "Java Bleue" is of an even more intense and perfectly unified blue - including the beards. The medium-sized flowers are pleasantly but not excessively waved. Numerous buds per stalk, at least 10, ensure a long flowering period. Quite compact foliage.

Gracefully arched white standards pleasantly complement the wide rosy-lavender falls carrying white beards. These huge flowers (12 cm x 16 cm) are well-bodied and have a gently ruffled shape. 8 to 9 buds per stem.

Resulting from the cross between 'Ciel gris sur Poilly' and 'Macaron', this is a two-toned variety with yellow standards and amber borders which contrast with nearly horizontal, sustained bright purple falls.
