We are delighted to name this new unusual bi-colour "Gérard Brière" after the founder of the iris garden Brocéliande in Brittany. Amber-yellow standards, tinted brown at their edge, and blue-violet falls with a large white centre and bright yellow long beards. Multiplies up well, unusual colour.

    Pure deep golden yellow, beards the same. Almost horizontal falls, moderately waved flowers. Good and extremely bright colour.

      GOLDEN IMMORTAL

      Barium yellow, deeper on falls except around the orange beards. Nice shape and edges with serrated ruffles. Good grower and it often reflowers in September or October.

        Standards are a pinkish white, peppered and striated in bright purple. Almost horizontal falls, pure white with a thin purplish red border in the Plicata style. White beards with tangerine tips. Both bright and refreshing!

          Imposing large pure white flower with good proportions, rolling ruffles and good 'body'. The sturdy stems carry 12 to 16 buds, and soon multiply into good clumps. A champion among the whites!

            A very delicate pattern for this plicata: falls are starch white with a thin magenta purple seam (6mm wide). Standards are of the same colour but with a wider border. Yellow beards with white tips. Abundant flowering: 10-12 buds per stalk.

              An old variety created at the end of 19th century. Numerous small flowers with pure yellow standards and nearly horizontal white falls, strongly streaked with magenta. Pure yellow beards. Often produces several stems per rhizome from the start. Diploid iris, like the Cayeux variety "Ma Mie".

                    A spicy warm variety: pure bright medium-yellow standards, falls between red and black with a yellow centre that spreads out in fine yellow streaks. The yellow-orange beards quite often end in a little dark red spatula, which gives an extra original note to this "spicy" flower. Winner of the "Public Prize" at Franciris in 2011

                                We crossed two Dykes Medal winners ("Edith Wolford" and "Honky Tonk Blues") to get this magnificent and waved bicolor. Clear butter yellow standards and cool bluish lavender falls with almost invisible beards. For us, it is one of the best blue and yellow bicolors.

                                  Is distinguished from all other blacks by its long cream beard (yellow at the heart) which creates a remarkable contrast with the velvety black of the falls.
