    Seedling brother of ‘Confiserie’, Attirance ’, Oh Susannah’. Full flowers of medium amethyst, the margin of the falls being slightly more unbroken. Lavender blue beards discreetly extended in the same lavender blue. Holds for a long time in a bouquet. Superb balanced stems. 8 to 9 buds. (Cayeux seedling 09 111 F).

            We hesitated for a long time whether to introduce this iris, but lots of iris lovers urged us that we should... So here is an amoena with mid-grey rather than white standards. The golden yellow beards light up the grey of the nearly horizontal falls. Certainly an unusual colour, but original, and would have its place in many a garden. 5 to 6 buds.

                      How to obtain such a sparkling iris : mix a beautiful orange (Avalon Sunset) with a "broken coloured" variety (Tiger Honey): then comes the surprise!
