AFTER THE RAIN

Upright standards, beige with a touch of golden yellow at top. Milky white falls with a narrow and clear yellow border (3-4 mm wide), bright yellow beards yellow shouldered. Large and ruffled flowers and well-branched stalks. A pleasant and rather unique new variety.

And so surprising too ! Wine rose standards; falls almost black (that is to say between eggplant and black) having a center with white short rays and dots, this, beside and beneath the burnt orange beards. Truly new and the favourite of our visitors during the flowering. Flowers of moderate size, excellent branching with many buds. Sibling to ‘En Pointillés’, a most interesting line for the future.

Two good parents : ‘Domino Noir’ and ‘Changing Seasons’, gave us this two-tones violet giant. Standards are mid purple-violet and falls much darker. Thin bronzed yellow beards. Huge flowers have a velvety aspect.

Mid mauve standards edged chrome yellow, style arms pinard yellow lightning the heart of the flower. Prunelle falls turning to mid purple towards the edge surrounded by a yellow chartreuse rim. Cadmium yellow beards ending white on a white spot. Lot of ruffles, very sophisticated indeed !

Gorgeous is this plain beetroot red with deep bronze beards relatively discreet. Large and ruffled flowers (character inherited from its parent ‘Diabolique’). Tall stems, very elegant and 10 buds in average.

Light peach-pink standards and white falls with a narrow pale pink border. Think coral pink beards ending white and shouldered deep pink. Large and laced flowers ‘full of grace’. 7 to 10 buds per stem.
